At this years international Design show Bjarke Ingel showed its visitors their vision of the future. They showed how the roads and sidewalks will work. The installation consists of 185 squared meters of road. 3D cameras sense the movements of pedestrians and vehicles. The led roads surround pedestrians with a glowing halo.

Some iPhone 4S owners reporting ominous 'No SIM card installed' messages
Many owners of the iphone 4s are reporting "no SIM card installed" messages. Sprint and Verizon Wireless users are also affected. Some people say that the malfunction is related to a short circuit caused be a flaw in the SIM card tray.

Reflections on first half of Web 2.0
The first half of this class was very interesting. We learned how to use Blogger and Google Docs. We also learned how to make a survey and a voki. Overall I thought this part of Web 2.0 was edamacational.
My weekend
I went out skating after school on Wednesday. On Thursday  went to Hoboken skate park. For the rest of the weekend I sat home and did nothing.

Planet-Sized Object as Cool as Earth Revealed in Record-Breaking Photo
An new planet was found recently. It was photographed right outside of our solar system. The temperature of this planet is like a hot summer day in Arizona. It is about 6 to 9 times the mass of Jupiter. Astronomers have named this planet WD 0806-661 B.

China researchers have created two new robot athletes that play Ping Pong. They were developed at Zhejiang University. These robots have motion tracking cameras built into their eyes so they can detect the ball. It won't be the most exciting game you will ever see but they are very accurate.

Apple has came out with the iCloud on October 12. It provides wireless backup and syncing for your songs, apps, and etc. When buying a song off of iTunes for one device it will automatically download to your others. You can also take a photo and send it to iCloud it will go on your other iOS devices. iCloud is free and every user gets 5GB of space.

A planet orbiting two stars was recently discovered. This planet lies about 200 light years from earth and it has a similar mass to Saturn. It was observed by NASA's Kepler spacecraft  This planet's name is Kepler-16b. It is the first planet discovered to orbit two stars. This makes it similar to the planet of Tatooine in the movie "Star Wars." The surface temperature ranges from -70 Celsius to -100 Celsius. It orbits around both stars every 229 days.

my weekend
Over the weekend my family and I went to the Pulaski Day Parade in New York City. It was very boring and I wanted to fall asleep. We stood on the sidewalk for about three to four hours watching it in the freezing cold. My little brother had to miss his soccer game. When I got home I fell asleep.

China just successfully sent its first inhabitable space station module into orbit. The Tiagong 1 will be in orbit for two years and China will launch three missions. China is the third nation to independently launch manned missions into space with its own technology. Apparently China's space program is modernizing at a very fast pace. However this depends on the success of Tiagong 1.

iPhone 5 Pre-orders at end of this September, China Telecom
Mobile network operators are getting ready for the iPhone5. Soon China Telecoms are going to accept pre-orders for it. It is rumored that sales will begin in October. The company Chairman,Wang Xiaochu said that the company will increase subsidies for their customers. There are rumors saying that the China Telecom is going to spend $235,000,000 for marketing so that they will increase Apple's sale in China.

The Fall
